Google has a long list of approved SEO strategies, which are referred to as “white hat.” These practices, which Strategic Edge follows, include link building, writing unique content, search engine marketing and pay per click advertising—to name just a few. Unfortunately, not all SEO agencies are created alike.
For example, take our client in the Northeast: he was recently contacted by another SEO agency via email about a bad review posted to his Google+ profile. This email promised to help him remove the review in hopes he would sign on to their services. As it turns out, this SEO firm had actually posted the review themselves.
